What is Little Shakers?

Little Shakers are weekly classes for preschool children aged 1 - 4 years. We combine music, dance, games & an early introduction to gymnastics in a safe, fun environment.

What are the benefits for your child?

Children gain confidence, develop musicality, social & motor skills like balance, jumping, rolling & hand to eye coordination. Doing this they are developing many of the "Early Years Foundation Stage" goals and gaining confidence while bonding with parents/carers.

What equipment do you use in class?

As well as brightly coloured sensory equipment, musical instruments & parachute games, Little Shakers also incorporates hoops, balls, bean bags, soft play and climbing sports equipment etc.

All equipment used is age appropriate for each class because having fun safely is paramount.

What music is generally used in classes?

Music used in class is a combination of familiar children's songs, nursery rhymes & of course our very own songs exclusive to "Little Shakers" :-)

Why do children love coming to Little Shakers?

They love to find out which songs "Betsy" will choose. Classes move at a pace that makes it impossible for children to lose interest. It's so much fun it doesn't feel like exercise.

Do I need to book & pay for Classes in advance?

As class numbers are limited, we currently operate a booking system for each term, or if you prefer half term subject to availability. We can however offer NEW customers the option to pay for a single trial class, prior to commiting to the rest of the term.

How much does each class cost?

Each class session is £7.50 per child (accompanied by an adult)

Do you offer a multi child discount for siblings?

Yes we do. Currently if you have two children of a similar age, the second child may attend the same class at the reduced rate of £11.00 for both. We also offer this discount to child minders bringing more than one child. (For safety, maximum two children per adult is permitted)

How do I book and pay for a session or full/half term?

You can reserve your child's place by simply contacting Vanessa on the number below or Email Vanessa directly via the link.

If you prefer you can message us via our Facebook or Instagram.

You will be able to discuss which class suits your child's individual needs based on their age.

Payments can then be made securely by bank transfer to secure your place.

Does "Little Shakers" hold public liability insurance?

Yes, Vanessa herself holds full public liability insurance as well as an up to date DBS.
