Ages 1 - 2 years old

"Little Shakers" younger classes use an age appropriate programme of activities suited to those aged between 1 to 2 years old.

An invaluable developmental "step" for those finding their feet and exploring new found mobility in the safest possible environment. If your child is not yet walking, don't worry, this class is perfect for crawlers too.

Play encourages confidence, balance & co-ordination. Use of bright colours, sensory equipment, exploration, songs, musical instruments & parachute all encourage learning.

Vanessa's training & years of experience working with this age group means children are encouraged to develop movement & motor skills in a way that is both safe and exciting.

Children, whilst busy having fun with Vanessa and Betsy, the much loved puppet, are developing many of the Early Years Foundation Stage goals and gaining confidence while bonding with parents/carers.

In our younger class, each child has the freedom to develop at their own pace. During these first years every child, however unique, can still gain so much from Little Shakers classes. Children learn to express themseves, whilst developing social skills and sharing alongside their peers. As your child develops and grows in confidence, after they reach two years old, Vanessa will help you decide when your child is ready to move up to the older age group.
